Well, officially 66 now. For some reason - i don't feel any older than I did last night when I was only 65...

Happy B-Day to you, Clyde! I hope you have many more.

I must be one of the oldest on this forum. I hit 67 back in August.

Ronnie, adam, MC Toyer and Bill Crane may be around my age, but I'm not sure. I think Ronnie is a little younger.

Fred,

You are much older than me, .. several months older.

Of the names you mention I think the birth order goes:
Bill Crane, Fred, adam, Clyde, Ronnie, MC Toyer

Of the Sunset grads I think the order is
Bill Strouse, Fred, Clyde, Ronnie

Of the Adamson grads I think the order is
Bill Shaw, Mona, Steve Westhafer, adam, mc Toyer

I think Cee Cee was a year or two behind me, but at South Oak Cliff

I think Dave McNeely was a year or two behind me, but at Kimball

Yep I'm the youngster of the male branch here and that probably accounts for the fact you all are all the time fussing at me: your jealous of my youth.

It's not my looks your jealous of.
It's my youth and the fact that
I still possess the "cool, clear eyes of a seeker of wisdom and truth"
:)

That's a line from a musical in case you didn't catch it

Oh, I thought it was . . .

(His) voice was soft and cool
(His) eyes were clear and bright
But (he's) not there . . .

Lyrics borrowed from Rod Argent and the Zombies . . . and changed slightly  (Hope this is OK, Adam)

Just kidding, Ronnie, you are indeed a seeker of wisdom and truth . . . happy hunting :D :D

Since we are on the subject of age, beauty, and wisdom I hope it won't mar the Birthday celebration to quote the great ganja Rasta sage bob marley on this happy occasion.

The lips of the righteous teach many,
But fools die for want of wisdom.

I remember now. In the middle is the "Beaver", to the left is Wally, I think to the right is the Beaver's dad. All from "Leave it to Beaver", of course.

(I gotta stop reading so many forums....)

Heard a rumor that Fred didn't get a birthday cake this year. The Democrats divided it up and gave the pieces to people not fortunate enough to have a birthday that day.

adam.... I didn't even get a card from my sister, daughter or grandkids. ....I just live like a hermit these days, as everyone else in the family has their own things goin' on and I'm the elder.

Actually, I prefer living like a hermit. Got a few cards this year, mostly from my wife and dogs, and some e-mails from my brother and daughter (nothing from my son) but damn it Barack Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize. Where's the justice?

Example (B. Hussein getting a Nobel for doing NOTHING, just for the POSSIBILITY that he will shift the US into the sort of lap-dog for the socialists his sock-puppet controller George Soros desires) of just how leftist and anti-American the committe that does the picking is.

Ronnie will be pleased.

Note - I deserve a Nobel Peace Prize far more than B. Hussein does - and I do NOT deserve one. Indeed, if i got a call saying I had won and it turned out to be true, I guess I'd take it since i need the money. But i shouldn't, ought to decline and suggest somebody actually qualified should get it. Maybe the Human Rights campaigner in China who was snubbed.

I know the Leave It to Beaver crowd really doesn't belong in this birthday thread ... sorry! But a friend shared this on Facebook, so here's darling 'Eddie' on last time :?
