Thought I would post this, so a Google search might turn it up:

If you can't see any messages in the Index of the Dallas Historical Society Message Board

you need to change your preferences.

Click on Set Preferences, and change your "List Messages" to 3 YEARS instead of weeks, or months, etc.

That way you should be able to return to the Index and see about the last 11 months or so. (It does take a while to load, but 3 years appears to be the minimum setting that allows you to see messages.)
