Congratulations Peter!
I just had an email from Scott. He is extremely busy with life, work, school, and photography. I should think your update will be a tremendous help to photographers of Dallas building history.

Peter;

If I may, I wanted to offer some from my own research:

* Record Crossing Pump Station (1895) and spillway (1865) on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, corner of Record Crossing and Riverside, Dallas, Texas

Image

* Turtle Creek Pump Station (1909), now the Sammons Center for the Arts, 3630 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas

Image

* White Rock Pumping Station, Dallas, TX (1911)

Image

* Bachman Pump Station, 2625 Shorecrest Drive, Dallas, Texas

Image

* Oak Cliff Pumping Station (1913) is now under the sign and next to the smokstack at Oak Farms Dairy (1937-), 1114 N Lancaster Ave., Dallas, Texas

Image

Image

* Cadiz Pump Station (1915), 411 Cadiz St. (corner of Cadiz and Industrial Blvd.), Dallas, Texas

Image

You can use the thumbnails on your Goggle Map if you wish; they were all taken by me. They are all current pictures.

thanks but Google maps uses urls to show the images, uses less space. so if you can point me to websites with the images i'll gladly add them to the map.

and if anyone else has buildings they want added to the map just post an url or send my a private message with the url

thanks

Peter;

In Internet Explorer, just right click on each image, and select Properties from the popup menu that appears. You can then highlight and copy the url for each image; for example, the url for the Record Crossing image is:

http://www.survivingworldsteam.com/albu ... .thumb.jpg

(The menu item for Netscape is "copy image location"; if you use Firefox or something else, you are on your own.)

If this doesn't work for you, or if you need further assistance, PM me, and I will be glad to send the URLs for all of them to you.
