How bad is the Economy?

Postby MickeyDal on Wed Oct 28, 2009 12:30 pm

This economy is SO bad that this Saturday night MILLIONS of American children will be going door to door, looking for handouts of something to eat! Many with their parent's encouragement and assistance. (So sad....)

Craftily said by the Man in Red  Will you be sticking to your Hawaiian theme for Halloween this year, Jerry (just kiddin') :?: :mm:

Myself, I'll be going as a wild urban party girl from the '80s ... trying to capture all that fun which passed me by once-upon-a-time. Look out, bucolic world :!: :D

I'm not sure what my urchin will be dressed as. This is the second Halloween when she has designed her own costume, so it will be a surprise for us grownups :)

Alas, Jerry ... I mean, Mickey :) ~ the evening didn't turn out exactly as planned. See, I was riding in a scratchy hay wagon with a handful of rednecks, and thought I'd give them a piece of my leg in exchange for their gruff conversation. So I shapeshifted into a doe right before their eyes, and before Bubba had a chance to pull his rifle down from the pickup truck window ... so the Mrs. could turn me into Thanksgiving chili later. I left little red moons on his big, hairy arms with my hooves, but they were nothing serious. Then, while the boys were crunching their beer cans, I bounded away to join Bambi among the mesquite trees in a field about two miles down the road. He's adorable and has a very nice rack this time of year 8) Young bucks <wistful sigh> ...

I am very lucky to have a daughter who is a wizard :) I was tired of changing into a turkey buzzard all the time, so she provided me a sweet, white-tailed alternative.

And how was your Halloween :?:

But this (or, that) is me when I'm not having any, Ronnie :!: :? I don't live in Dallas anymore and we just have different vibes out here in Little Roswell and ...

You don't believe in shapeshifting, though :?: Big-city living strips your imagination, you know. You need to go spend some time in Marfa here b'fore long ~ those wide, open spaces ... those other kinds of lights 8) :ufo3:
