How to see what FreeForum Issues they are aware of

Postby MickeyDal on Fri Jan 04, 2008 12:01 pm

Guys,

FreeForum obviously has their own forum, where they post Known Issues.

http://forum.freeforums.org/ And then click on Support Forum and the Network Status topic.

You can click on that and see what issues and problems they are aware of and working on.

As of today, they are very aware of the problems where postings are appearing and disappearing.

Do you know if they ever got some of this resolved? I've set up a new forum and am having trouble getting some posts to show up.

Just wondered if you'd heard anything?

The Forum has been running really slow and draggy for a week or more. I don't think the servers are aligned well yet. Yesterday I had to sign on about a half dozen times and today it has started again. I went to the FreeForum help site and see nothing about this from others. So just wondering if only Mike and I on 2 separate laptops and different routing deals are having this problem. (It must be really frustrating for dial ups--if we are experiencing "getting on" problems with high speed DSL.)

Sharon

I have the same problems, every so often. Usually works fine & fast in very early morning (4:00 to 7:00), but seems to have problems during "normal business hours". Maybe problems & sluggishness are related to number of people using forums?
