That's kinda neat. I never new that the missiles were raised to the surface for launch, I assumed they just fired them out of the hole.
He certainly doesn't have to worry about living in tornado alley!

Depends on the missile - some were raised, some lit up and launched from the hole - there pictures of some of those, with the lid opening, then clouds (or jets...) of smoke and flame coming out side vents and then the missile rising up and suddenly realizing its a$$ really is on fire and trying to run away from it....
