Gimme a song I know, something I can relate to
People never criticize the way I play
Show me the way to go, I need to make a breakthrough
I don't think that I can wait another day

It's putting years on me, I'm a young man going grey
I don't believe that I can wait another day

This simple melody is all I have
I make my living that way
I make good friends that way
Ooh, I really can make no sense of it, as hard as I try
Is it something I do wrong please won't you tell me why

"(Ghost) Riders in the Sky: A Cowboy Legend" is a country and cowboy-style song. It was written on June 5, 1948 by Stan Jones. [1] The tune (not the lyrics) bear a strong resemblance to the 19th Century Irish anti-war song Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye. More than 50 performers have recorded versions of the song. Charting versions were recorded by Vaughn Monroe ("Riders in the Sky" with orchestra and vocal quartet), by Bing Crosby (with the Ken Darby Singers), Frankie Laine, Marty Robbins, and Johnny Cash. Other recordings were made by Peggy Lee (with the Jud Conlon Singers) and Spike Jones and his City Slickers. Gene Autry sang it in the 1949 movie, Riders in the Sky. Children of Bodom and Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have also made covers.

Lyrics:
There's tombstone in a snowy field
Close by an old ghost town
The epitaph's been weather-blown away
There's a bell tower where petitions peeled It's been half torn down
But it must have softened every soul that came to pray
There's a schoolhouse full of broken glass
And wounded walls
The rusty swings like derelicts sleeping in the weeds
There's a picture-graduation class
Staring down deserted halls
"THE HOPE OF 44" is what it reads
It's just as if some restless wind blew their dreams away far away
It's just as if those dreams had never been but oh-
I feel their ghosts around me now- I hear them say
They've come back home to dream those dreams again

Laura and Tommy were lovers
He wanted to give her everything
Flowers, presents,
But most of all, a wedding ring

He saw a sign for a stock car race
A thousand dollar prize it read
He couldn't get Laura on the phone
So to her mother, Tommy said

Tell Laura I love her
Tell Laura I need her
Tell Laura I may be late
I've something to do, that cannot wait

He drove his car to the racing grounds
He was the youngest driver there
The crowed roared as they started the race
Around the track they drove at a deadly pace

No one knows what happened that day
Or how his car overturned in flames
But as they pulled him from the twisted wreck
With his dying breath, they heard him say

Tell Laura I love her
Tell Laura I need her
Tell Laura not to cry
My love for her will never die

Now in the chapel where Laura prays
For her poor Tommy, who passed away
It was just for Laura he lived and died
Alone in the chapel she can hear him cry

Tell Laura I love her
Tell Laura I need her
Tell Laura not to cry
My love for her will never die

Tell Laura I love her
Tell Laura I need her
Tell Laura not to cry
My love for her will never die

Casper, the friendly ghost
The friendliest ghost you know!
The grownups might look at him with fright,
But the children all love him so.

He always says hello
And he's really glad to meet ya'
Wherever he may go,
He's kind to every living creature.

Grownups don't understand,
Why children love him the most,
But kids all know that he loves them so,
Casper the friendly ghost!

She says she's gonna come over tonight
Look like a ghost sound like a whisper shivering down my spine
I'm just a traveling soul, say you'd never leave me alone,
Tell me you need me so tonight
She come creeping up slow
I got no place, no place to go
But now I'm feeling like I fell for you oh baby, no don't you sell it
Story's always different, no matter who's telling it,
Now I'm feeling like I fell for you

Apparition

I know she's lurking the streets tonight,
Sound like silence, slink like a drifter
'tween the darkness & the flickering light
She's just a wandering soul, oh I can't let it go,
Tell me it isn't so tonight

I swear I heard something sneaking through my corridor,
Memories float like specters, keeps on haunting me evermore

"Grim Grinning Ghosts" (complete title: "Grim Grinning Ghosts (The Screaming Song)") is the theme song for the Haunted Mansion attractions at Disney theme parks. It was composed by Buddy Baker, with lyrics written by X Atencio.
Lyrics:
when the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake
spooks come out for a swingin' wake
happy haunts materialize, and begin to vocalize,
grim grinnin' ghosts come out to socialize

now don't close your eyes and don't try to hide
or a silly spook may sit by your side
shrouded in a daft disguise, they pretend to terrorize,
grim grinnin' ghosts come out to socialize

as the moon climbs high o'er the dead oak tree
spooks come out for the midnight spree
creepy creeps with eerie eyes, start to shriek and harmonize
grim grinnin' ghosts come out to socialize!

when you hear the knell of a requiem bell
wierd glows gleam where spirits dwell
restless bones eptherialize, rise as spooks of every size
(maniacle laughter)

if you would like to join our jamboree
theres a simple rule thats compulsory:
mortals pay a token fee, rest in peace, the hauntings free,
so hurry back, we would like your company!

Flame Sky is the 3rd track on side 2 on the album Welcome by Santana, released in 1973. It followed the jazz-fusion formula that the preceding Caravanserai had followed, with a different lineup this time. Gregg Rolie had left the band along with Neal Schon to form Journey, and they were replaced by Tom Coster, Leon Thomas and John McLaughlin, who had collaborated with Carlos Santana on Love Devotion Surrender. Welcome also featured John Coltrane's widow, Alice, as a pianist on the album's opening track, "Going Home" and Flora Purim, the former wife of Airto Moreira on vocals. Because this album was far more experimental than his first four albums, Welcome did not feature any hit singles.

A 1978 song from their album "Octave". Written by Justin Haywood, 'Driftwood' is a slow love ballad, in a similar manner to 'Nights in White Satin' and 'Never Comes the Day'.

I'll send an S.O.S. to the world
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah
Message in a bottle, yeah

Walked out this morning, don't believe what I saw
Hundred billion bottles washed up on the shore
Seems I'm not alone in being alone
Hundred billion castaways, looking for a home
